Niklas Kurki
Managing Partner & Lead Behavioral Scientist
Niklas founded Colcrane with the aim of improving how organizations apply academic behavioral and data science research for business and societal impact. He also seeks to provide academics with applied interests a dynamic channel for closer engagement with managers and policymakers. Niklas is a skilled mediator between practice and theory, as well as between qualitative and quantitative approaches. His domain knowledge includes behavioral economics, customer analytics, experimental methods, and human-computer interaction.
Niklas has professional experience in the technology industry, notably at Microsoft and its partner ecosystem. Additionally, he has founded two B2C startups during his studies. He holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Hanken School of Economics and an MSc in Social Science from the University of Helsinki. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Marketing and Behavioral Economics at the University of Vaasa, focusing on behavioral economics in the private sector healthcare using experimental methodology.
