Kirsi is a product development professional with over ten years of industry experience. She excels at blending industry practices such as user research, UX design, service design, and data-informed product development with scientifically valid behavior change frameworks to address behavior-derived challenges.
Kirsi holds a PhD in Information Processing Sciences. Her thesis focused on the subjective evaluations of commercial self-tracking systems and examined these systems through the psychological differences of users. She has also designed health behavior change interventions in academic projects and applied similar approaches to commercial products with behavior change goals.
