Huong is interested in studying consumer dynamics in various consumption contexts. Her modeling approach aims to characterize the underlying mechanics of behavioral changes using minimal and accessible data. This allows her to derive strategies that optimize business objectives and assist managers with decision-making under uncertainty.

She has worked as a senior market researcher at Nielsen and Kantar TNS, consulting for companies such as Nestlé, Unilever, and Coca-Cola. Currently, she is a PhD candidate specializing in Retail Analytics at the Stockholm School of Economics and a visiting research scholar at the R. H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.
